While attending an industry awards gala last week, the women next to me—let’s call her “Suzy” to protect her privacy—said to me, “Oh my gosh, you’re with AGC?  They have the BEST and most rewarding events in DC!”  Obviously, I couldn’t agree more.  It’s in the spirit of the enthusiastic “Suzy” and the warm spring weather trying to show itself, that I bring you this blog. Good morning members!

I would like to encourage you to participate in the second annual RALLY for ROADS on Tuesday, March 20th on the National Mall.  You will be joining fellow construction businesses and a long list of Senators and Respresentatives trying to put pressure on Congress to complete action on the Highway reauthorization bill.  The hope is to garner people and media attention to help move the bill forward.
